Kim Jong Un Oversees Missile Tests and New Warship Trials Amid Military Expansion

North Korea's supreme leader, Kim Jong Un, conducted  a series of missile tests and unveiled a new warship as part of its ongoing military expansion, according to the state media.  Kim Jong Un personally oversaw the launch of two strategic cruise missiles, three anti-ship missiles, and trials of a new the 5,000-ton-class destroyer named Choe Hyon.  Choe Hyon   is designed to carry multiple advanced systems, including anti-air and anti-ship weapons, as well as nuclear-capable ballistic and cruise missiles.  Kim described the development as a step towards expanding North Korea's operational reach and strike capabilities. The officials stated that the tests include a range of weapons aimed at strengthening offensive and defensive capabilities. MS Dhoni has missed the first four games for CSK and might miss the fifth one on too, on Tuesday, as he continues to recover from a calf strain sustained during a practice session at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium. After the failed negotiation, Donald Trump has decided to enforce a blockade in the Strait of Hormuz from Monday.  U.S. President Donald Trump, stated that any Iranian ship near the American blockade, will be intercepted immediately. America will thoroughly investigate it. Especially, those ships that have paid illegal toll to Iran, will not be granted safe passages.  The same method ,will be used to stop the ships, of drug smugglers in the sea. Trump Threatens Strait of Hormuz Blockade as Iran Warns of Military Response

 Tensions have escalated sharply after Donald Trump, the President of the U.S., warned of a possible blockading of all ships entering or leaving the Strait of Hormuz. "I have ordered to stop all ships in international waters that have paid any tax, i.e. toll to Iran". These action raise concerns whether such moves would be implemented despite the ongoing negotiations. Many questions arise- Will his threat succeed? A war by U.S. despite being in negotiations? If for the U.S. Iranian Navy is finished why still their goal is war?  Violence ignited in Noida after a labor protest- demanding for increase in wages, less working hours & better working conditions. The protest began in Noida on Monday, 13 April 2026, and turned violent as the protesters set fire to vehicles including a van and pelted stones at buildings, damaging the property. Legendary singer Asha Bhosle leaves the world, what happened?

Legendary singer, entrepreneure, actress, Asha Bhosle passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026, in a hospital in Mumbai.  Maharshtra Cultural Minister Ashish Shelar confirmed the news while speaking to the media outside the hospital.  At the age of 92, Mrs. Bhosle passed away due to multi-organ failure, Breach Candy Hospital confirmed. She was admitted to the hospital on April 11 evening following a chest infection and exhaustion. She also suffered from a cardiac arrest and pulmonary complications.  Ashish Shelar also informed that her last rites will be held tomorrow at 4 PM at Shivaji Park. From the age of 9 she began her singing career in 1943, and till date she is known as the greatest vocalist for the past 8 decades. She remained one of the most famous playback singers, working with leading music composers across the industry.  She made her last performance in 2026, weeks before her death, in Gorillaz album The Mountain.
