New MILITARY ALLIANCE, OMAN-IRAN to jointly CONTROL HORMUZ, IRAN lists CONDITIONS
NEW REGIONAL 'MILITARY ALLIANCE'
A significant development has emerged in this ongoing conflict.
Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Pakistan have reportedly signed a mutual-defence agreement under which an attack on one member could be treated as an attack on all three.
The arrangement could significantly alter the regional security equation, particularly as tensions involving Iran, Yemen and the Gulf continue to rise.
OMAN'S MEDIATION
At present, no talks are being conducted between Iran and U.S. Though, Oman has stepped in as a mediator, also a consensus has almost been reached.
The consensus is mainly upon the matter of Strait of Hormuz. As per the consensus, the inbound traffic will be controlled by Oman, and the outbound traffic will be controlled and supervised by Iran.
Resulting, two new routes will be created, and that Iran will collect 7% of the value of whatever cargo is on any ship as a fee, charging it as a navigation and environmental fee.
The Iranian National Security Council has set some conditions.
- U.S. BLOCKADE END: The naval blockade on Iranian ships must end.
- NO SANCTIONS: The sanctions imposed on Iran's oil, gas, and petrochemicals must be lifted, that would enable Iran to sell its oil and petrochemical products.
- RELEASING FUNDS: Iran demanded that its funds frozen in other foreign countries must be released, as it needs them for their nation's interest.
- WAR COMPENSATION: Iran demands that the U.S. shall give the compensation to Iran, for damaging Iranian infrastructure through illegal attacks.
- LEBANON WITH IRAN: Iran is not ready to abandon Lebanon and stated that America promised to enforce a ceasefire in Lebanon but failed.
- COLLECTING TOLL TAX: Iran stated that it has the right to collect a fee from every ship passing through Hormuz.
REGIONAL CONSPIRACY
Along with military warfare, parellely a regional conspiracy is being built up.
Yesterday morning, Iran fired missiles at a U.A.E (United Arab Emirates) flagged ship, causing an outburst of a massive fire. Several sailors are also reported to be injured, fortunately, none was killed.
The strike was rooted because the U.A.E. ship was passing through the Sea of Oman along the coast on a route designated by America.
In response, U.A.E and all its neigbouring countries- Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, all condemned Iran's attack.
War analysts, suggest this as a regional conspiracy from the fact that, none of these countries condemned U.S-Saudi-Israel's joint illegal attack on Iran when Iranian officials appealed for support, none of these countries were in against, when Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, was assassinated.
EGYPT PART OF REGIONAL ALLIANCE?
In the alliance formed by Pakistan, Turkiye, and Saudi Arabia, there are attempts being made to include Egypt as well in the alliance,
The Foreign Minister of Turkiye, Hakan Fidan, stated that Egypt may join the defense agreement with Turkiye, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, once certain technical matters are sorted out.
This development is particularly critical because Egypt has so far remained largely outside the direct line of fire in the months-long regional conflict, even as neighbouring countries have faced missiles and drone attacks.
REPORTED ATTACKS ON SAUDI SHIPS
Today, Iran targeted and striked two ships out of which, one was a U.A.E flagged ship, 18 nautical miles in the East of Oman's Khasab area.
Meanwhile, Ebrahim Azizi, an Iranian Member of Parliament, stated that "The Mecca Pacts shows that Arab countries have finally realized that security depends on cooperation of regional countries, but they still have not found the right path."
"We warn about the potential miscalculation. Powerful Iran has proven that no mistake will be tolerated."
WHAT IT MEANS?
CONFLICT TO PREVAIL: As escalations continue, and as military alliance build up it is obvious that the ongoing conflict shall remain.
HORMUZ WIHT IRAN & OMAN: Even though Trump claims to control the Hormuz by applying a naval blockade, the truth has come to light, as U.S. accepted Iran's terms with it clearly stating that Hormuz will be controlled Oman & Iran
FINAL VERDICT
The forming of the alliance of Turkiye, Pakistan, and Saudi , is a significant development.
Many consider that this is now a intense dangerous point, but the analysts suggest it is not. The Houthis are continuously striking Saudi Arabia. The Houthis also set up a blockade in the Red Sea and striked 9 to 10 ship. They also attacked Saudi's airports oil refinery, and military bases
Analyst highlugh that more than Pakistan and Turkiye, Saudi Arbia needs the alliance to protect itself from further attacks.
On the other hand, a consensus is being reached with the main theme- The Strait of Hormuz. Iran had affirmed that Hormuz is not any international waters, it is the territorial waters of Oman and Iran.
Though, with the views of America, they want it, to upgrade them financially, as Hormuz controls world's 15% - 17% of oil export, and additionally to gain a powerful position.
Amidst, a regional conspiracy is also brewin up, but Iran is settling all by themselve with a beffiting power.
For now, the ongoing conflict is prevailing, and in the midst of all Iran is attempting its best to resolve the matter through dialouge and diplomacy.
