Ukraine attacks of Russia's oil port, global oil export paused: War updates
Ukraine launches missile on Russia's largest oil port, closing the gateway for global crude oil exports.
Ukraine hits Russia's Primorsk Batlic oil port (Russia's largest oil export port) overnight, hitting fuel tanks and causing major fires. The port (-75M tons/year) is one of Russia's main oil export hubs, critical for revenue and war funding. This port processes 15 lakh barrel oil and petrolium products on daily basis.
According to the moscow times, Russia's Defense Ministry has informed that Ukraine fired 249 drones, and more than 70 drones were fired alone at Lenin Grad.
The missile attack has caused the suspension for the supply of 1 million barrel oil.

Volodymr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine says "There is growing evidence that the Russians continue to provide the Iranian regime with intelligence support. This is clearly destructive activity, and it must be stopped, as it only leads to further destabilization. All decent states are interested in guaranteeing security and preventing a larger crisis. Markets are already reacting negatively, and this is significantly complicating the fuel situation in many countries. By helping the Iranian regime stay afloat and strike more accurately, Russia is effectively prolonging the war. There must be a response".
Both of the world's largest oil check point are together in flames, increasing the possibility of global crisis. These sign aren't the good sign for the world.
On the other hand Iran has decided to shut the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has also proposed to buy oil from them in YUAN (Chinese currency). Challenging the US and the decade old financial structures.
If energy trade fragments into multiple currency purchase, it will hit GLOBAL STABILITY.
This attack will also impact India. Experts say that Russia obtains oil from the Baltic Sea. The oil arrives on ships sailing across Europe, the Mediterranean, the Swiss River, the Red Sea, and the Arabian Sea. Finally, it arrives in India. Through this routes, the ships reach India within 30 to 40 days. After the attacks the time can increase.
Prime Minister Modi as also addressed in the parliament that "like we dealt with the corona crisis, similarly we need to be prepared like that for he coming crisis due to war".
Oil infrastructure and energy infrastructure are the new targets. Starting by Israel and US this is now affecting globally. These attacks are a matter of tension, they are not just Geopolitical issue but GLOBAL TENSION, giving lasting impacts.
