Iran launched ceasefire, Iran hold control of Strait of Hormuz: Iran War latest updates

Iran and U.S. with the allies have agreed to an immediate ceasefire everywhere including Lebanon and elsewhere, effective immediately. On 10th April 2026, Friday further negotiation would take place for conclusive agreement to settle all disputes.

On Truth Social, U.S. president Trump posted, claiming to suspend the attacks on Iran for two weeks by agreeing o the complete, immediate, and safe opening of the Strait of Hormuz.


The control of Strait of Hormuz will be entirely in the hands of Iran, and will impose toll tax to compensate the damages made US - Israel coordinated attacks.

This agreement was based on the conversations with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif and Feild Marshal Asim Munir. The 10- point proposal agreement concerns with long - term peace with Iran. 

Iran's Supreme National Security Council has confirmed that the negotiations will begin on Friday, April 10, in Islamabad.

The foreign minister of Iran, Syed Abbas Araghchi, on behalf of Iran Supreme National Security Council declared that If attacks against Iran are halted, our powerful armed forces will cease their defensive operations. For a period of two weeks, safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz will be possible via coordination with Iran's armed forces and with due consideration of technical limitation. 


Earlier, Trump made a post stating, A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don't want that to happen, but it probably will. Tonight will be historical for the world. 

After that Israel and America's joint operation consecutively targeted Iran's civilian infrastructure; hospital, railway tracks, universities, and trains. 

In respond, Iranian citizens in 1000s made a human chain bridges and nuclear power plants,  protesting "if you will destroy our bridge and civilization you will have to pass our dead bodies". If the U.S. wanted to destroy their civilization, they would have to kill the people first.

Iranian Musician, Ali Ghasmari played his instrument right next to a Nuclear Power Plant, saying he wants to bring peace through this music in Iran.

Qatar's foreign minister made a statement that, This escalation by Trump will get us into a situation where it cannot be controlled. There are no winners in WARS, only humanity losses. 

Russia and China has also helped Iran by refusing to give official permission to a UN proposal that would have forced the Strait of Hormuz open without Iran's consent. 

The UN has also commented that, even wars have rules. The Geneva Conventions protect civilians in conflict and help ensure assistance reaches those in need, without discrimination.

The ceasefire is not a complete end, but a repositioning point changing the way of war. Iran has also proved that war is not won by modern weapons but by passion of true courage and spirit.

Iran's PROPOSAL and Trump's PROJECT FREEDOM- a new standoff?

As the Middle East Conflict moves, enters a new strategic move- 14 point proposal.  14 POINT PROPOSAL Iran has presented a 14-point peace proposal to Donald Trump via Pakistan. The proposal is a response with amendments in the American 9-point formula, aimed to end the war in the next 30 days rather than extending the ceasefire.  As per Syed Abbas Araghchi , Iran's proposal demands withdrawal of all U.S. forces from Iran's surroundings, lifting the naval blockade with a new Hormuz mechanism, lifting sanctions, releasing Iran's frozen assets, and paying compensation.
