21 Hours of Talks Failed: What’s Next for Iran, the U.S., and Global Stability?

The peace agreement between Iran and America in Pakistan has FAILED. The discussion lasted for more than 21 hours.

J.D. Vance, the vice president of America, with his team has left for America. Before leaving for U.S. he made a press conference, where he said "Not reaching to an agreement with U.S. is a much bad news for Iran than it is for United States of America. We are returning to the United States with no agreement in hand. We made it as clear as we possibly could about our red lines and they have chosen not to accept our terms"

"For any agreement it is necessary that Iran promises it will not built nuclear weapons".

Meanwhile Iran said the discussion with America in Islamabad came to an end without any discussion.

According to the Iranian news agency, America's terms were more strict than necessary because of that there was no way for the agreement to work.

The table leading the negotiations:
                  US:                                                                                  IRAN:
J.D. Vance (Vice President)                               Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf (Parliamnet Speaker)  Steve Witkoff (Special Envoy)                          Abbas Araghci (Foreign Minister)
Jared Kushner (Former Presidential Adviser)   Majid Takht Ravanchi (Deputy Foreign Minister)
Brad Cooper (CENTCOM Commander)          Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr (Supreme National                                                                                Security Council Secretary)

         PAKISTAN:
Shehbaz Sharif (Prime Minister)
Asim Munir (Army Chief of Staff)
 Ishaq Dar(Foreign Minister)
Mohammad Asim Malik(National Security)

The first round of the negotiation was for two hours and in person. They wrote notes in written. The meeting in Islamabad is significant because it is the first time in 47 years that leaders from both nations have engaged in high - level, face - to - face talks.

At the Start of the negotiations Iran made it clear it won't consider talking about few pointer, since it their right and they should get it. The points are:
  1. Iran will have complete control of Strait of Hormuz since there has been a huge damage in our country to railway, gas facility, nuclear facility, universities, etc. and we have to get the compensation.
  2. Iran should be given compensation for war.
  3. Iran's assets froze by America should be returned without any deal.
  4. A long going ceasefire in the entire area, including Lebanon.

Despite moving forward for negotiations, America sent two warships to the Strait of Hormuz. The Central U.S. Command (CENTCOM) stated that from 11 April they have started to remove the marine mines ammunition which were laid in the Strait of Hormuz. Two U.S. warships - USS FRANKE E. PETERSON (DDG 121) & USS MICHAEL MURPHY (DDG 112) - led this operation.

CENTCOM commander Admiral Brad Cooper said, "Today we have started the process to create a new safe way. We will provide the information about safe paths to maritime traders very soon, so that trade can continue without any obstacles"

After being aware of this, Iran warned America that if their warships didn't leave the Strait of Hormuz within 30 minutes, else they will hit missiles.

Israel's Prime Minister, Netanyahu, made a press conference in which he stated "They are ready to attack on Iran. The campaign against Iran is not over - we still have more to do".

According to reports from Al Jazeera, the United States has considered unfreezing Iranian assets as a gesture of goodwill, which is viewed as a small victory for Iran.

Iran has made it clear that if these negotiations fail, the responsibility will lie with both the US and Israel. In the midst of these talks, Donald Trump has issued a warning that the US would attack again if a peace deal was not reached.

During the negotiations we cannot fix a winner but whats clear is that no outcome has come.
Will war continue? The ceasefire would extend? many such questions remained unanswered. This failed negotiation is globally a big shock.
