Trump Threatens Strait of Hormuz Blockade as Iran Warns of Military Response

Tensions have escalated sharply after Donald Trump, the President of the U.S., warned of a possible blockading of all ships entering or leaving the Strait of Hormuz.

"I have ordered to stop all ships in international waters that have paid any tax, i.e. toll to Iran".

These action raise concerns whether such moves would be implemented despite the ongoing negotiations.

Many questions arise- Will his threat succeed? A war by U.S. despite being in negotiations? If for the U.S. Iranian Navy is finished why still their goal is war?

IRGC'S RESPONSE

In response, the IRGC warned that any military vessel approaching the Strait of Hormuz will be considered a violation of the ceasefire and strict action would be taken against it.

IRGC's PR department also rejected the claims of officials from enemy countries and that it remains open under safe control.

They have also released footage of Iranian Navy warning U.S. warships. When the Iranian Navy warned twice, America's warships were seen turning back.

GLOBAL REACTION:

Britain has reported that it does not support Trump's threat to open the Strait of Hormuz & will not give any of its warships, fleet or military forces to America.

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the president of Turkey, stated if military action continues to increase instability then there will be serious consequences. Any attack on Lebanon and Iran will be considered an attack on Turkey.

This statement suggests rising tension and potential involvement.

STRATEGIC TENSION

Mohammed Bagher Ghalibaf, the Iranian speaker, stated there will be serious military action against any threat and is prepared to defend its nation. we will give a bigger reply to America if they challenge our will and our determination.

"Threats have no effect on the Iranian nation. The world has seen it with its own eyes. We have shown that the enemy has reached a state of desperation. We have proven that we do not surrender under threats."

"If the United States wants to find a way out, the only path is to decide to earn the trust of the Iranian people. If you choose war, we will fight; if you come with logic, we will respond with logic"

Despite a temporary ceasefire for two weeks, there is regrouping and restrategizing in both sides.

With strong warnings and statements from multiple sides, the situation remains delicate with high risk of war escalation.
