IRAN-US PEACE DEAL SET: Will it implement amidst tensions?
The PEACE DEAL between the U.S. and Iran has been reached.
PAKISTAN ANNOUNCES JUNE 19 GENEVA SIGNING
The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif, announced that on 19 June 2026, the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran will sign a interim peace deal and the signing will take place in Geneva, Switzerland.
Both the countries have declared the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon.
IRAN REFUSES TO COMPROMISE ON HORMUZ CONTROL
Even though the deal has been reached, the control of Hormuz will remain in the hand of Iran.
Some relaxations will definitely be provided, traffic will be accelerated, the location of the mines will be disclosed however, the service tax shall be implemented.
Following that, during the 60-day period of the peace deal that will be signed, Iran conditioned that no discussion should take place on uranium and nuclear program.
It is assimilated, as long as the U.S. blockade persists lifted for 60-days and Israel ceases military action on Lebanon or Beirut, then a major deal shall be signed, which will be passed by the UN Security Council, enduring forever.
ISRAEL STRIKES NEAR BEIRUT
It is reported that recently Israel has made striked in Dahieh, Southern Lebanon.
Iran expects that America should cease those attacks within the next four to five days. Iran had already informed that its biggest red line is Beirut, specifically Southern Beirut.
They warned any attack on Beirut, will be considered an attack on their nation, consequently a befitting reply shall be given.
Israel's action highlight that its intentions are to prevent and sabotage the deal and this is the sole reason it attacked Dahieh.
TRUMP'S FRUSTRATION OVER ISRAEL'S MILITARY ESCALATION
The U.S. President Donald Trump claimed in a short interview that the signing of the U.S.-Iran deal for ending the war is still on track for Sunday, despite of the Israeli strike in Beirut and the Iranian threat to retaliate.
Trump, spoke to a journalist from Axios and said that the "why did Netanyahu have to do a attack? I was so angry. I will let him know he has no judgement."
Additionally, Trump informed that Israeli strike has degraded the situation. As a result, the signing of the deal has been delayed by a few hours and that he appealed Iran not to retaliate to Israeli strikes.
According to Axios, Trump had also called the Prime Minister of Israel, Netanyahu, on this matter and expressed his displeasure.
IRAN'S REACTION
The Iranian commander, Ibrahim Razai, referred to the Zionist Regime's (Israel) action as 'crime'.
That Beirut once again proved U.S. is weak without credibility, as it is not even capable of controlling this illegitimate regime. A strong response is coming.
Iran has made its intentions direct, Beirut and Iran are brother, any escalation shall be answered with retaliation.
WHAT IT MEANS?
DESTROYED DEAL: Fresh military activity in Lebanon can cause a break in the peace deal
HORMUZ WITH IRAN: Whether a deal is reached or not, the control of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran is confirmed.
THE EFFECT
As the peace deal will be signed, it will result in-
- Resumption of international trade
- Supply of enrgy and oil resources
THE FINAL VERDICT
Both Pakistani and Iranian officials have publicly confirmed the proposed signing date. Yet the region remains on the edge.
The military action by Israel highlights its pure intentions to prevent this deal from happening. America claimed that Israel will follow their orders, but the reality questions the sentiment. America is seemingly losing their credibility.
The interim deal in Geneva is being signed to create confidence for a partnership with America. If America gains a success in winning the trust, a prolonged deal is expected.
Amidst this deal, Iran has signified that their and Lebanon's nation are now linked, any further attack on Lebanon will face a befitting retaliation.
Rest, the future lies in the entire 60-day period, a slight indifference could change the entire situation- a peaceful region or another historic cold war.
Whatever might be the end, what remains sure is Iran shall stay in power for times. Despite many attacks, broken bridges, lost leaders, Iran persists. Iran surely does not need to posses any nuclear weapon to fight, the Strait of Hormuz- their land, is their only weapon.
