SAUDI ATTACKS ON IRAQ
Last night, Saudi Arabia, carried out strikes at several places in Iraq-Iran's ally.
AccordinG to the sources, the regions targeted in Iraq include, Baghdad, Wasit, Nineveh, Basra, Kirkuk, Karbala and Diyala Governorates.
In Karbala, lies the Roza of Imam Hussain and the period on Arbain. It is a pilgtim for 40 days, where begins the religious journey to Karbala. On the 40th day, it is the day of Arbain, a religious gathering takes place at Karbala, in fact it is the world's largest gathering.
At the time when millions of pilgrims and devotees, were journeying to Karbala, at that same time Saudi Arabia strikes Karbala.
Onwards, America and Saudi Arabia, issued a joint statement that the Iran-backed militias in Iraq have been attacked. This attack was carried out after considering the strikes on Saudi's oil refinery and Iraq's U.S. military base.
IRAN'S RETALIATION
In response to the strikes made on Iraq, Iran carried out retaliatory attacks.
Iranian military targeted the American military bases in Jordan and also caused considerable destruction at the place.
Upon the attacks in Jordan, the U.S. President, Donald Trump stated that "We are going to be hitting them very hard because its our turn to hit them."
"They know its coming. They are asking us not to do it",
HOUTHIS IMPOSE TAX IN RED SEA
As Iran imposed service tax in Hormuz, similarly, the Houthis in the Red Sea have begun preparations to impose taxes on merchant ships passing through the southern part.
This development is significant as it shall create greater economic pressure worldwide.
Already global supply chain is irrupted and most of all Saudi Arabia is facing the highest loss as more than 60% of Saudi Arabia's exports transit through the Red Sea.
After the blockade, they were tend to change their route and go via Africa, increasing their transportation cost. Now the tax at Red Sea will also cost Saudi much higher.
AMERICAN GAS TANKER HIT IN EGYPT
An American gas tanker in Egypt, was hit through drone attacks.
It is being reported that a drone attack took place on an American gas storage tanker near, Damietta Port in the Mediterranean Sea, under Egyptian Jurisdiction.
Afterwards both the tankers caught fire, so far no major casualty is reported.
This development is particularly critical because Egypt has so far remained largely outside the direct line of fire in the months-long regional conflict, even as neighbouring countries have faced missiles and drone attacks.
WHAT IT MEANS?
ESCALATION & RETALIATION: Escalations shall now increase Iran hit U.S. base in Jordan. Since the past week, an new pattern have attack & retaliation has aroused. An set of attacks and then other attacks calling it 'retaliation'.
DOUBLE ECONOMIC PRESSURE: Houthis had already blocked the Red Sea now they have introduced service tax for merchant shipping. Now two important Straits, Hormuz and Red Sea, both on service tax will pressurize the economies of many countries, specially of hostility and its allies.
FINAL VERDICT
Iran-U.S. war is prevailing. It is not just confined to attack but has increased to striking a nation's dependency, to disarm them.
As of now the escalation will previla. Iran is now beginning to take retaliatory actions, which directly results in extended strikes.
This entire week, Saudi Arabia has been the main target be it attacking their largest oil refinery or blocking 60% of their export and trade.
Houthis are also playing a significant role as Iran's supporter. Their strategic move of blocking the Red Sea, will sooner or later pressurize the hostilities, the only wait is that who will fall first.
Doubts are arising for Egypt, will they too now step in the ongoing conflict? or is it just a misunderstanding.
Whatever might be the result, one thing is for sure, that Iran shall never back till the last, their agenda for this war has been the same throughout- protecting their nation and it interests.
The war is now not just confined to U.S. and Iran. Slowly and gradually, other nations across the globe are stepping in and choosing the one they support, making the warfare even more significant.
